We interupt this trife...




I saw this picture in the Boston Metro along with this article on the way to work. Wow! Powerful stuff. Proof that we are Kings and Queens if I ever seen it. Well not really but you know work with my literary imagery to the true assertion that success does run in our race.

I saw George Fraser speak at a conference I was speaking at once about the lack of blacks in PWC's (predominantly white colleges) and he is the truth! Yes he is black and YES for those that care he is married to a black woman.


Remind me to share my theories of why the lightest of our brothers and sisters are often some of the most militant!

Black Panther Founder, Huey P. Newton , George "Soledad Brother"
Jackson and H. Rap Brown were all
light skinned brothers.

That's a powerful image... and yeah i feel ya on the statement about the lighter brothers, as Keith has already pointed out, it is reflected in our past.

@RDB- McCain ain't nothing but Obama's Bob Doyle. Well theoretically speaking, because I'm not 100 that Barry gonna win this, we KNOW how these elections work. If Barry was Bill (meaning white) which he really isn't that far off from Clinton as far as position on the scale they are both moderates. Anyway if Barry was all white McCain would really show how much he is the Bob Dole of the millenium all the way down to the Viagra! *lol*

I definitely want to hear that story. As a chick that was raised and grew up w/some of the lightest in my won family, this will be an intriguing discussion.

I'm not surprised @ the crowds. Alot of folks are wringing their hands because Obama seems to "arrogant" and they are worried how he will be perceived.

He is a confident man because he knows who he is. That is not arrogance. Arrogance is merely an illusion, self knowledge is Truth.

Show 'em whatcha workin' with Obama. Some folks are (even our own) are afraid of our greatness and beauty OG. It's time to take it back!
